Celebrating freedom was on everyone’s mind at this do, organised at TGIF recently, where the guests had gathered to celebrate the American Independence Day. We are lovin’ it: Right from good food, good ambience and bouts of laughter, the party hoppers were thoroughly enjoying themselves. Guests walked in, posed for pictures and caught up with each other.
Spare me the horror: Pallavi, who walked in a little late in the night, was chatting with her friends and was reviewing a newly-released film that she had seen. “It’s such an awful movie. Sheer wastage of time and money. So, I just dropped in here to have some nice food and cheer myself up,” said the lady. After such a review, we are sure none of your friends watched the film. Whatsay?
One for the nation: Diners at the do were an interesting mix of Indians, Indian Americans and Americans, and everyone was ecstatic about celebrating the day and it’s spirit. Even the attendants at the venue were in a mood to celebrate.
